The Corcuera Electrification System which started in 1996 has increased service hours from six hours to nine hours.
Still the goal of the local government is to provide power for the full 24 hours to create a good climate for business and investments.
The LGU is encouraging investors to provide service for the remaining hours not served by the present power system.
Roads and Bridges
The road network of the municipality continues to improve and develop as more funds are channeled to road construction, rehabilitation and maintenance. All barangays of the municipality can be reached by motorcycle, the kind of land transportation prevalent in the municipality.
Transportation and Communication
The Municipality of Corcuera is accessible by pump boats and small passenger ships regularly plying the routes to and from BatangasCity, LucenaCity, Pinamalayan, Calatrava, Odiongan and Romblon capital. These vessels are now using the facilities of the new port.
Communications to almost all parts of the country is thru cellphones. Smart and Globe have already established cell sites (one each) and this placed the level of communication on almost equal footing with the other progressive municipalities of the province.
Sports and Recreation Facilities
This 2005, the municipal government is appropriating P1 million for the construction of a multi-purpose covered court in Poblacion. With the completion of this structure, recreation will be an all-weather one.
